Sacred Scripture is vital to all that we want to teach, but how do we integrate it in a developmentally appropriate way to build a foundation for lifelong discovery? Why do we start with the Gospels with the youngest children? How do we discuss the very difficult texts of the Old Testament? How do we integrate Sacred Scripture regularly when there are so many things to cover? Come join us as we examine wonderful ways to integrate Sacred Scripture into your lessons - with any age! You will leave with practical ideas you can implement.

Susan Piescik
Susan Piescik studied all three levels of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd with those trained directly under Sofia Cavalletti, the founder of this beautiful methodology. She has worked with children in the atrium since 1990 and has been a certified formation leader since 1994. She has led CGS courses throughout New England as well as in New York and Michigan.
Deborah Pelletier
Deborah Pelletier is the coordinator of religious education at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church in Hartford. She has worked with children ages 3-12 in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd atriums since 1995. Deborah is recognized by the National Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd as a formation leader for all three levels.
